Why volunteer?

To help others. Volunteering your time, car and gas helps us keep the cost of home-delivered meals low for those who are not able to shop or prepare their own meals.

To be more involved. You may deliver meals in parts of our community that you’ve never visited before, giving you a whole new perspective.

For connection. Listening to clients shows that they matter. Sometimes, the brief conversation you may have with someone is the only conversation they will have that day.

Because kindness helps create happiness. Helping others feels good. Give it a try!

How to volunteer?

Call our office between 9 am and 1 pm at #562- 567-9477. We will be happy to help you get started.

It makes me happy when the young people come. I always try to tell them how much I enjoy their visits and tell them to have a good day, so we are both feeling good.
